Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:
  • Work proficiently with Linux/UNIX (RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu), installation and configuration with Kickstart, and working knowledge of Linux "Command Line" functions.
  • Experience with Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, etc.)
  • Install and configure network devices (i.e., network printers, scanners, plotters, PCs, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices. Perform data termination/ activation in telecommunication closets, also known as network connections (activation of data drops).
  • Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
  • Assist in the relocation of customer employees to the facility (move PCs and activate data drops in the new location).
  • Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN (duplex mismatches, duplicate IPs, corrupt firewall software, proxy configuration issues, etc.)
  • Assist with imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 years of experience with basic technical hardware repair.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience with setup and configuring PC's.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience with desktop support.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience with Linux/UNIX (RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu)

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience with Installation and Configuration with Kickstart
  • Experience with Working knowledge of Linux "Command Line" functions
  • Experience with Experience with Scripting and Automation (Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell Scripting, etc.)

Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.

  • Possible lifting may be required up to 50 lbs.
  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
