Tuxedos K9 Training Camp Inc in Rochester, NY is looking for a passionate and dependable Overnight Dog Day Care Attendant to join our team! Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor dogs overnight to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being
  • Provide feeding, watering, and medication administration as directed for each dog in care
  • Facilitate safe group play and socialization among dogs of varying sizes and temperaments
  • Maintain clean and sanitary kennel environments through regular cleaning and disinfecting
  • Observe and report any signs of illness, injury, or behavioral concerns to management
  • Follow established protocols for dog handling, emergency procedures, and facility security
  • Document overnight activity logs and communicate updates to day shift staff
Requirements:
  • Genuine love for dogs and experience working with or caring for animals
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify signs of stress or illness in dogs
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
