What does a director of inventory do?

A Director of Inventory oversees the management and optimization of a company's inventory processes. This role is responsible for ensuring adequate stock levels, minimizing costs related to excess inventory, and preventing stockouts that can disrupt operations. The Director of Inventory works closely with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to forecast demand, analyze inventory trends, and implement efficient inventory control systems.
