This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We're seeking a fun, reliable respite provider for a boy who enjoys singing, music, playing catch, and jumping on the trampoline. In this role, you'll offer dedicated one-on-one support focused on emotional regulation, safe supervision, and consistent, structured care in a warm and encouraging setting. This is a great role for someone who enjoys being active, playful, and supportive while providing safe supervision and structure.
Pay:
• $14.13/hour
• $207.45/day (Weekends)
Schedule: Mainly weekends + occasional weekday hours
Location: Respite may take place in the client's home, the provider's home, or in the community
Job Duties (Respite Supports)
Responsibilities include:
• Safe supervision and support during activities at home or in the community
• Engaging play (music time, outdoor play, catch, trampoline time, etc.)
• Assisting with toileting as needed
• Meal preparation/snacks
• Light housekeeping related to the child's care (tidying up after activities/meals)
Requirements
Applicants must have:
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle
• Current auto insurance
Preferred (a plus, not required):
• Experience supporting children with behavioral needs
• Background in caregiving, childcare, paraprofessional work, education, or similar
Ideal Candidate
You might be a great fit if you are:
• Patient, kind, and dependable
• Comfortable providing structure and calm support
• Energetic and enjoy interactive play
• Safety-minded and able to redirect behavior positively
If you love music, play, and making a positive impact on a child's day, this role is a perfect fit.
