What You'll Do
Your future starts here! A Machine Operator at Royal is someone who enjoys working with their hands and equipment. In this role, you'll remove parts from the injection molding machine and prepare parts of packing/labeling. This is a team focused environment that places high value on customer and performance expectations being met. Based out of our Cullman, AL facility this position reports directly to the team supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
  • Inspect and package finished product to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Run up to 4-5 injection molding presses (workload dependent)
  • Following work instructions (both visual and written)
  • Complete necessary paperwork
  • Perform essential functions of the role within safety guidelines
  • Involvement in Safety and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area by following 5S requirements

Skills & Requirements
  • Self directed, takes initiative and possess good time management skills
  • Completion of required production paperwork
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Effective communication (reporting on issues and shortages)
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven attendance and quality track record

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks 8+ hours/day
  • Lifting up to 35lbs
  • Limited bending and stooping
  • Ability to use fingers, hands and arms to complete a task and handle product
  • All employees must wear approved safety glasses

Starting Wage: $20.00/hour + quarterly bonuses
