Project Engineer – Injection Molding

Salary: $95–$120K DOE + Benefits

Location: Longmont, CO

Schedule: M-F 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with some flexibility

Position Type: Direct Hire

How you'll spend your time as a Project Engineer:

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact between customers, toolmakers, and internal production teams.

  • Ensure all tooling is production-ready and partner with the floor to troubleshoot process-related issues.

  • Collaborate with quality, automation, and tool room teams to maintain high manufacturing standards.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Project Engineer:

  • 5+ years of experience in plastics manufacturing, specifically within injection molding.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience (associate's degree or non-degreed) is highly valued.
  • Strong background in plastic part design and mold construction/functionality.
  • Practical experience working with injection molding presses and troubleshooting in a live production environment.
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and translate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
