This role is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the Nursing Department in alignment with state, federal, and facility standards. The DON provides strategic leadership to nursing staff, drives quality improvement initiatives, and ensures that resident care is delivered safely, efficiently, and compassionately.
