Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer focused Store Manager in Training to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop their retail skills and grow their career in a dynamic retail environment. Candidates will participate in Monro's 5-week Store Manager Training and Onboarding Program. The onboarding and training program will help you to:
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure excellent customer service
  • Implement company policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Lead and motivate store teammates, including training, scheduling, and drive productivity
  • Contribute to inventory management, including inventory control, proper ordering, receiving, and loss prevention.
  • Assist in meeting sales targets and implementing promotional strategies
  • Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Support cash management procedures and accurate financial reporting
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance management skills
  • Drive store success by fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Leverage data and insights to implement innovative strategies that boost sales and enhance the guest experience.
  • Be a role mode of operational excellence, ensuring the store runs smoothly and meets all company standards.

  • 1-2 years of experience in retail or a related industry; previous supervisory or management experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences
  • Proficiency in sales techniques and ability to meet sales targets
  • Experience with inventory management and loss prevention strategies
  • Excellent cash handling skills and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and communication purposes
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
