The Opportunity

We're seeking an Implementation Specialist to join our growing team and help shape the future of healthcare technology. In this role, you'll guide pharmacies through training, startup, and steady-state transition, ensuring successful implementations that improve patient care and operational efficiency.

Location: Remote — Travel up to 50% of the time
Reports to: Director of Implementation

What You'll Do

  • Schedule and lead weekly conference calls with new pharmacies
  • Communicate project plans, timelines, and milestones clearly to customers
  • Ensure pharmacies are on track for successful implementation
  • Guide pharmacies through setup and configuration of key areas of the application
  • Advise internal team members of current implementation status and escalate risks
  • Participate in follow-up meetings and provide go-live support
  • Enlist and coordinate other internal teams to ensure successful customer outcomes
  • Conduct training of new customers and ongoing training as needed
  • Support product sales demos by demonstrating workflows, best practices, and value to prospective customers
  • Assist in the adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows during implementation projects; provide feedback to internal teams on customer readiness and opportunities for AI enhancements
  • Travel to client sites or business-related functions as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience in computer science, training, or pharmacy-related field
  • Experience with long-term care pharmacy operations and workflow processes
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable state, federal, and DEA regulations
  • Demonstrated commitment to SoftWriters' Core Values
  • Experience delivering excellent customer service
  • Ability to troubleshoot pharmacy software applications and workflow process issues creatively and effectively
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies, including AI-enabled tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound technical judgment
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting product demos and customer onboarding
  • 5+ year's experience with long-term care pharmacy operations and workflow processes
  • Familiarity with AI-driven tools in healthcare or pharmacy settings
  • Prior experience in software implementation or training roles
