Job description

This position will involve leading the design and development of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) systems for our clients for any level of complexity within a specific functional process area.
Responsibilities:
  • Own and drive the design and development of functional process areas (Close & Consolidations, Financial Planning, Data, and Reporting) of the technical architecture on small and medium sized CPM projects.
  • Provide and effectively communicate solution architectural assessments, design strategies, and development roadmaps.
  • Engage with client stakeholders to demonstrate a deep understanding of functional business processes within particular functional process areas.
  • Understand the connections between technical solution possibilities and functional business requirements, and logically communicate the pros and cons of different approaches.
  • Assist with implementation of a global design review process to consistently apply platform design principles across projects.
  • Assist with implementation of a platform performance review and tuning process.
  • Understand the connection between various project build activities, and quickly assess the risk and impact of application design decisions and changes.
  • Develop training relative to assigned CPM internal knowledge pillar to facilitate on-going internal learning & development.
  • Collaborate with Finit marketing team to create blogs, marketing materials, white papers, etc.
  • Coordinate knowledge transfer and inventory or client solutions and "best" practices.
  • Maintain inventory of key CPM scripts and solution accelerators.
  • Document Discovery/Requirements and Detailed Design questions.
  • Create and maintain baseline implementation instructions, check lists, object trackers to help others implement and track status of solution build.
  • Define drivers/estimates to help Sales team and PDs with estimates and project planning.
  • Identify solutions to present to Solutions Review Group for standardization/productionizing/marketing.
  • Gain understanding of Finit's skillset and capabilities in various solution delivery areas and determine how to share them to develop others.
  • Assess/test/share knowledge of newly released features/solutions and understand impact to current solutions and "best" practices.
  • Build and develop authentic client and Finit relationships.
  • Ensure a respectful and team-oriented work environment on projects.
  • Provide real-time on-the-job feedback to team members.
  • Play a key role in critical internal Finit activities, including recruiting, training, employee enablement and performance management.
  • Assume ownership of one's own personal growth at Finit and continuously seek to broaden and develop new job skills and expertise.

Skills:
  • Will typically have 8-10+ years experience with CPM software and/or the financial close cycle.
  • Content/functional expertise in the several core EPM knowledge areas, including: Forecasting, Planning and Analysis, Consolidation and Reporting.
  • Possess an aptitude for technology and an understanding of system architecture and design requirements.
  • Able to work in a highly agile environment and be flexible when requirements are not clearly defined.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, and capable of tailoring communication based on the knowledge and needs of specific audiences.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to assist with managing both Finit staff and client stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise consistently good judgment.
  • High competence in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications:
  • Previous OneStream experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent a plus.
  • CPA a plus.
