We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality medical and psychiatric care to individuals in our mental health and/or substance abuse treatment facility. The RN will be responsible for monitoring client health, administering medications, collaborating with the treatment team, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care, including health assessments, medication administration, and monitoring of client conditions.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing medical assessments to identify health concerns and coordinate treatment plans.
  • Monitor withdrawal symptoms and provide appropriate interventions for clients in detoxification programs (if applicable).
  • Educate clients and families about medications, treatment plans, and overall health and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies, providing appropriate care and intervention.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Ensure infection control procedures and facility safety standards are followed.
  • Support a trauma-informed, patient-centered approach to care.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid RN license in the State of Ohio (required).
  • Associate or Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Experience in mental health, substance abuse, or behavioral health settings preferred.
  • Strong assessment, crisis intervention, and medication management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
