Job description

Growth Marketing Manager, User Acquisition

Mythical Games is a venture-backed game technology company powering the next generation of players, games, and studios. We build exceptional video games and technology that help developers create new player experiences. At Mythical, we’re proud of our People First culture . We believe great products are built by great teams, and we aim to create an environment where people can do meaningful work while living fulfilling lives outside of work. We're building the marketing engine behind FIFA Rivals, our free-to-play mobile football title, and a growing portfolio of games. We're looking for a Growth Marketing Manager, User Acquisition to own how we grow our player base - someone who lives in the numbers but also understands that great paid marketing is built on great creative. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you'll run paid user acquisition end to end with a high degree of autonomy on a lean team, using AI and modern tooling to work faster and scale your impact. You'll also be a true creative partner to the marketing team, connecting performance back to the work so we can create sharper, more effective assets over time. This role is open to candidates based in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, and Texas. At this time, we are not able to consider candidates located outside of these states for this opening. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • 4+ years running user acquisition campaigns in gaming or a comparable industry, ideally including time in a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • A strong creative eye, with the ability to diagnose why an ad works, not just that it works, and translate that into feedback the creative team can act on.
  • Hands-on AI fluency: you already use AI to work faster and smarter, from campaign analysis and creative iteration to reporting and building your own lightweight tools and automations, without needing to be a coder to do it.
  • Experience owning advertising and acquisition partnerships.
  • A strong grasp of mobile and web attribution methodologies.
  • Solid analytical chops, including working knowledge of SQL and Excel, and comfort with data-visualization and BI tools.
  • A self-starter mindset. You identify the right next move and drive it without waiting to be told, and you can run your own lane on a lean team.
  • A BA in marketing, finance, or a related field.
Requirements
  • Own paid user acquisition for one or more titles, running campaigns end to end from strategy and setup through optimization and reporting.
  • Analyze creative performance and partner closely with the marketing team on what's working and why, turning results into clear, actionable feedback that sharpens future assets.
  • Track performance across the funnel, from impression to install to activation, and optimize campaigns, targeting, and spend to improve cost per install, ROAS, and early retention.
  • Set, own, and hit KPIs and growth goals for your titles.
  • Manage acquisition budgets with rigor and a disciplined, efficiency-focused approach to spend.
  • Create and maintain AI-powered tooling and workflows that make your work faster and sharper, across campaign analysis, creative iteration, reporting, and data.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, creative, data, and external partners to unblock work and align on priorities.
  • Help set the standard for a data-driven, AI-forward marketing culture.
Eligible employees may participate in a comprehensive benefits program that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), flexible PTO, paid holidays, parental leave, and additional wellness and work-life benefits.
