Job description

Job Title
Sr Corporate Recruiter, Sales & Marketing
Position Overview
Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is a leader in flooring and other surface solutions designed for residential housing, commercial spaces and outdoor environments. Leveraging strengths in design, innovation and operational excellence, the company takes a people-centered, customer-focused, and growth-minded approach to meet diverse market needs. It creates differentiated customer experiences through its expansive portfolio of brands: Anderson Tuftex, COREtec, Shaw Floors, Patcraft, Philadelphia Commercial, Shaw Contract, Shaw Sports Turf, Shawgrass, Southwest Greens, Watershed Geo and more. Headquartered in Dalton, Georgia, Shaw is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. with more than $6 billion in annual sales and 18,000 associates worldwide.
Shaw's Talent Acquisition is hiring a Corporate Recruiter to support a highly relational, commercial-facing Commercial Sales & Marketing organization-partnering closely with sales leadership to deliver talent outcomes with rigor. This role requires a true hunter mindset: proactive sourcing, market mapping, and confident candidate "selling" for roles that can be confidential, competitive, and relocation-heavy. While aligned to Commercial Sales & Marketing, you'll also flex to support other business units/functions based on volume and business priorities-including commercial's global hiring needs. Position will work in a hybrid way from Cartersville or Dalton GA offices 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for salaried roles, with primary focus on Commercial Sales & Marketing and commercial-facing leadership teams (often Manager through VP).
  • Build search strategy per role: intake + calibration, talent mapping, target list creation, outreach messaging, pipeline build, and progress tracking.
  • Proactively source and headhunt passive talent using advanced search techniques (Boolean/X-ray), CRM/ATS workflows, and competitive intelligence.
  • Consult and influence sales leaders: manage stakeholder expectations, provide market insight, align on profile/level/compensation, and guide decision-making.
  • Deliver a high-touch candidate experience: prep candidates and interview teams, facilitate debriefs, keep processes moving, and close decisively.
  • Drive offers and close/relocation: support offer strategy, negotiation, and candidate decision-making-frequently for Dalton/Cartersville-based roles requiring relocation.
  • Operate with rigor: maintain compliance, documentation, data integrity, and recruiting SLAs while balancing competing priorities across a global requisition portfolio.
  • Contribute to TA projects and process improvements (pipeline building, sourcing enablement, market insights, interview excellence, etc.).

What Success Looks Like:
  • You consistently generate qualified, diverse, passive pipelines-not just applicants.
  • Sales leaders view you as a talent advisor who brings structure, market intelligence, and urgency.
  • You can run searches that include confidentiality, relocation, and executive-level dynamics.
  • You keep stakeholders aligned and processes tight (intake → slate → interview → decision → close).

Requirements:
  • Recruiter: Bachelor's + 3+ years recruiting/HR/sales experience or HS/GED + 5+ years
  • Senior Recruiter: Bachelor's + 5+ years recruiting experience or HS/GED + 7+ years
  • Demonstrated success in proactive sourcing/headhunting (Boolean/X-ray search, market mapping, passive outreach, CRM pipeline management)
  • Proven ability to recruit in a commercial / sales-driven environment (sales, marketing, revenue-facing roles) and partner effectively with senior leaders
  • Strong communication, influence, writing, and negotiation skills
  • Strong technical proficiency with ATS/CRM and sourcing tools
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed

Preferred:
  • Experience recruiting sales executives and sales leadership (e.g., sales directors, VPs, commercial leaders) and/or marketing leadership across multiple markets
  • Experience supporting relocation-heavy searches and closing candidates who must move
  • Experience supporting global hiring or multi-country search work (directly or in partnership with global HR teams)
  • Sourcing certifications (CIR/ACIR) or evidence of advanced research and search skills (competitive intelligence, pipelines, market maps)

Based upon experience and skill level of candidate selected, position may be filled as a Corporate Recruiter or Sr Corporate Recruiter.
Competencies:
  • Learn Continuously
  • Initiate Action
  • Influence Others
  • Build Trusting Relationships
  • Adapt and Change
