Job Description:

SUMMARY

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator, Emerging Markets, to lead marketing initiatives in our newest and fastest-growing sectors, with a primary focus on the Chicago market. Reporting directly to the Senior Market Manager of New and Emerging Markets, you will work alongside the marketing lead to bring campaigns to life-developing creative assets, driving community and stakeholder outreach, coordinating vendors, and ensuring our programs are executed with precision and brand integrity. This is a hands-on, high-impact, and highly collaborative role for someone who thrives on building. Much of the work happens in partnership with cross-functional teams, operations, data, design, and external vendors-so you will excel if you genuinely enjoy working with others and understand that the best outcomes come from collaborating. By joining this team, you will be on the ground floor of Accel's expansion into emerging markets, working closely with the senior marketing leadership team and gaining broad, hands-on, cross-functional experience across creative design, communication, community relations, events, and analytics. As the Chicago market matures, the role will broaden to support additional emerging markets, mirroring the scope of the marketing function. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creative Production

  • Maintain brand standards: Create sales decks, one-pagers, handouts, and signage mockups aligned with typography, color, and layout guidelines
  • Manage asset workflows: Coordinate internal feedback cycles and route creative assets to the design team for final refinement and approval

Stakeholder & Community Outreach

  • Drive diverse outreach: Build relationships with location owners and community partners using culturally resonant, multilingual materials
  • Manage localized assets: Coordinate the review and localization of translated materials with native-speaker reviewers

Sales Enablement

  • Empower sales teams: Develop licensing decks, segment-specific handouts, and field-visit collateral to accelerate the sales pipeline

Vendor Coordination

  • Oversee production vendors: Source and coordinate with print, signage, video, and fulfillment vendors to secure quotes and track timelines
  • Manage project delivery: Ensure all outsourced marketing collateral is delivered on time and within budget

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track campaign metrics: Maintain performance tracking tools and direct mail reports
  • Synthesize data insights: Turn campaign performance data into clear, actionable insights for future initiatives

Communications

  • Write compelling copy: Craft clear, on-brand internal and external communications, including emails, announcements, and campaign messaging

Events

  • Execute field activations: Lead logistical coordination for company events from initial planning through on-site execution

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Align internal partners: Partner with sales, operations, data, and design teams to keep marketing initiatives strategically aligned
  • Foster team-first execution: Share work early to proactively loop in the right partners for stronger project outcomes
  • Act as a connective link: Ensure all stakeholders are equipped with the information and tools needed to execute on time

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field

Experience

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Relevant internships and project work count toward the experience requirement
  • Familiarity with gaming, hospitality, or another highly regulated industry is preferred
  • Prior experience supporting events or vendor coordination is preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling internal and external communications
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or a design-adjacent background is preferred
  • Ability to build performance tracking tools and report on campaign metrics
  • A genuine passion for cross-functional teamwork and engaging the right partners for better results
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with comfort taking initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable sharing early, partial work for refinement and iterating quickly based on feedback
  • Ability to act as a central connective link to keep diverse internal and external teams aligned

Base Pay Range:

$60,000-70,000/yr

This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
