Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, develop, and enhance Polaris platform features
• Build full stack solutions using .NET and modern front-end frameworks
• Develop integrations with DOE systems (ATLAS, SESIS, FAMIS) via REST APIs
• Ensure data accuracy across financial transactions and reporting
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code aligned to best practices
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests
• Optimize performance (e.g., Redis, in-memory caching)
• Collaborate with BA, QA, and stakeholders to deliver solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and design discussions
• Support AI/ML-enabled enhancements where applicable
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)
• 7+ years full stack development experience
• Strong C# and .NET Core / .NET expertise
• Angular or React (Angular preferred)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Strong SQL Server (or similar RDBMS) experience
• Experience with caching (Redis or similar)
• Experience with unit testing (xUnit, NUnit, etc.)
• Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices
• Strong problem-solving skills in enterprise environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in education or government environments
• Experience with financial systems (billing/invoicing)
• Experience integrating large, complex enterprise systems
• Strong communication skills (technical to non-technical audiences)
