Our Forensic practice investigates problems in the built environment and provides evidence-based solutions founded on rigorous science and physics. We assist attorneys, property managers, building owners, contractors, manufacturers, and design professionals with a wide range of engineering and architectural issues.
Your Role
If you're an architect who wants bigger challenges, more technical depth, and a clear runway toward becoming a recognized expert, Thornton Tomasetti is the place where that trajectory happens. As a Project Director in our Forensics Practice, you'll independently evaluate, adapt, and apply advanced architectural concepts to challenging forensic problems. You'll help influence technical direction, contribute to proposals and thought leadership, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
  • Handle complex forensic investigations and develop innovative solutions for repair and remediation.
  • Prepare deliverables that communicate clearly with clients and legal teams.
  • Proactively coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal experts.
  • Contribute to proposals and represent TT's technical excellence with clients.
  • Travel to project sites to conduct forensic investigations.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's or PhD preferred.
  • 4+ years of architectural experience preferred, ideally with construction administration and field experience.
  • Must be working toward licensure.
  • Ability to independently develop engineering approaches and troubleshoot novel challenges.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and desire to grow into a technical leader.
