REPORT TO: Designated Administrator

STARTING DATE: School Year 2026 - 2027
SALARY: $19.00 hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Holds high school transcript or equivalency
  • Experience working with students; preferred
  • Has strong communication skills; writing and speaking in English
  • Has experience working with children in varied settings;
  • Has working knowledge of behavior management procedures;
  • Must be able to stand and work continuously for a minimum of 4 hours per work day
  • Minimum lifting requirements - 50 pounds (with assistance)
  • Must be able to use arms and hands without restrictions to accommodate the physical, mobility, and ambulatory needs of students

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follows district and building procedures
  • Adheres to the schedule and breaks developed by the designated administrator
  • Ensures the safety of the students within their work environment
  • Communicates essential information to relevant staff
  • Uses initiative and common sense to solve problems
  • Assists in emergency situations (fire drills, civil defense drills and first aid)
  • Lends support in maintaining discipline of students
  • Ensures student confidentiality
  • Consistently maintains a professional attitude in all settings
