PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

MDA Joint Integrated Fire Control is seeking Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Engineers with a background in Electrical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering to join our rapidly growing Mission Engineering team. We have multiple vacancies for mid-level professionals ready to make an impact. In this role, you will be the technical engine behind our Mission Engineering analyses. You will develop, integrate, and execute complex simulations of Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) systems to evaluate end-to-end mission effectiveness under varied conditions. Your work will directly translate theoretical mission architectures into quantifiable performance data, accelerating our customers' ability to make data-driven investment and modernization decisions.

The candidate will work as the Lead Developer in a Modeling and Simulation Laboratory. Responsible for the development and integration of M&S / Virtual Representation prototypes. As the software team lead, the candidate will report directly to the senior Government customer. Candidate will direct the software team to integrate products into existing Joint Service Programs of Record. Candidate will develop software requirements to satisfy system requirements for integration and testing in live test events, develop and analyze metrics.


Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 20 years’ experience in software design, development, and test
  • Experience with Python scripting, embedded software development and JIRA
  • Experiences supporting analyses and testing activities
  • Experience with AGILE based SE sprint planning and tasking
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM) Representation Prototypes is a plus.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
