Director of Finance: System Philanthropy Summary:
  • Serves as the strategic and operational finance leader for a system of multiple affiliated foundations.
  • Responsible for ensuring financial integrity, transparency and alignment across all foundation entities while supporting the broader mission of healthcare philanthropy.
  • Partners closely with foundation leadership, system finance and executive stakeholders to oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, investment oversight and gift stewardship.
  • Plays a critical role in building a high-performing, centralized finance function that supports both system-level strategy and local foundation needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required Credentials: Certified Public Accountant License (CPA)
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
Required Experience: 7 - 10 years of Progressive financial leadership experience, ideally with nonprofit, healthcare, or foundation settings
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of nonprofit accounting, fund accounting and endowment management.
  • Strongly preferred: Experience managing multi-entity or system-level financial operations.
