Position Summary
WME Group is seeking an experienced Director, Finance Systems to lead the strategy, delivery, optimization, and support of the company's global finance technology ecosystem, with a primary focus on SAP S/4HANA/ECC and related finance applications.
The role will oversee SAP, adjacent boundary systems, reporting and analytics platforms, integrations, and internally developed applications that support core finance processes. This leader will partner with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Business Operations, and Technology teams to modernize systems, improve controls, automate processes, and enable scalable finance operations.
The ideal candidate will bring deep SAP finance expertise, strong knowledge of enterprise finance processes, and a proven track record leading application teams, transformation programs, vendors, and global stakeholders in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
SAP & Finance Systems Ownership
  • Lead the strategy, support, optimization, and enhancement of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and related finance applications.
  • Oversee adjacent boundary systems, integrations, reporting platforms, and internally developed applications that support finance operations.
  • Support SAP transformation and modernization efforts while ensuring solutions align with business objectives, controls, compliance requirements, and technology standards.

Finance Process Excellence
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to optimize SAP-enabled processes across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, treasury, tax, intercompany, close, consolidations, planning, reporting, and analytics.
  • Drive process standardization, controls, data quality, automation, and simplification across SAP and related finance systems.
Program & Project Delivery
  • Lead system initiatives from planning through deployment, stabilization, and ongoing improvement.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, system integrators, internal resources, governance, prioritization, releases, and change management.
Integration & Data Strategy
  • Oversee integration and data flows between SAP, boundary systems, banking platforms, reporting solutions, data platforms, and other enterprise applications.
  • Partner with architecture and analytics teams to strengthen data governance, reporting visibility, system reliability, and application scalability.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience managing enterprise finance applications, ERP platforms, or application teams.
  • Deep experience with SAP S/4HANA/ECC and finance processes across core SAP modules and related systems.
  • Experience leading system implementations, upgrades, transformation initiatives, vendors, consultants, system integrators, and global stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, team leadership, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Experience within talent agencies, sports representation, entertainment, media, licensing, royalties, commissions is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP FI/CO, SD, AR/AP, reporting, planning, analytics, and related SAP finance capabilities.
  • Experience using AI, workflow automation, or emerging technologies to improve finance operations.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Rate Minimum:
$181,500 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)
Hiring Rate Maximum:
$242,000 annually
