THE BUSINESS UNIT
Honeywell Building Automation (BA) is a leading global provider of products, software, solutions, and technologies that enable building owners and occupants to ensure their facilities are safe, energy efficient, sustainable, and productive. As a Director Finance here at Honeywell, you will hold a key leadership position, responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to the commercial finance function.
You will report directly to our senior leadership and you'll work out of our Atlanta location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact business growth and profitability by developing and executing financial strategies, overseeing sales, finance, working capital, and project installation/service, and providing valuable insights through financial data analysis.
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the commercial finance function
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial goals with overall business objectives
  • Lead and mentor a team of commercial finance professionals
  • Oversee all aspects of sales, finance, working capital, and project installation/service
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to drive informed decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior executives and stakeholders

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial finance or related roles
  • Prior experience in a leadership or director-level role
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and achieving business objectives
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of financial principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Office
  • Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
