Job description

We have a place where YOU matter! Lakeview is looking for a Respiratory Therapist. Come and work for a premier LTAC hospital focusing on Brain Injury, Rehab and Neuro-behavioral patients.

Purpose and Responsibilities:
Provide prescribed respiratory services within the scope of one's license and within facility policy and procedure. Assists treatment team with treatment planning
Under the direct supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Director provides rehabilitative and routine respiratory care therapeutics and emergency resuscitation services.
Serves as a resource for physicians, nurses and ancillary hospital staff.
Assures proper use and maintenance of equipment and performs related duties.


Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an A.M.A. approved program in Respiratory Therapy.

Skill, Knowledge and Abilities: Strong, interpersonal, clinical, problem-solving, team building and communication skills are required. Must work effectively and efficiently during stressful scenarios. Able to work independently. Possesses basic understanding of computers. Strong patient assessment skills.
