Position Overview

The Director of Product Development leads the strategy, design, and execution of next-generation hybrid power systems, security, ballast mounted tower systems, and telecommunication based products and services. This role owns the full product lifecycle and is responsible for translating market demand, customer needs, and network capabilities into scalable, revenue-driving solutions. The Director works cross-functionally with Engineering, Network Operations, Sales, Service & Maintenance, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to deliver high-impact telecom products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the product development roadmap for hybrid power systems, security, ballast mounted tower systems, and telecommunication based products and services.
  • Identify new product opportunities
  • Develop and procurement and final assembly strategies
  • Align product strategy with company growth objectives and market trends
  • Manage the equipment rental program
  • Develop long term Service, Repair, and Maintenance program
Product Development & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end product development from concept through launch and lifecycle management
  • Partner with Engineering and Network teams to ensure products meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements and compliance (FCC, 3GPP, IEEE, NNAA)
  • Drive efficient development processes to deliver products on time and within budget
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies
  • Support Business Development with product expertise for partnerships and customer engagements
  • Serve as a key product voice with executive leadership and external stakeholders
  • Monitor competitive landscape, customer feedback, and emerging telecom technologies
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve product performance and customer experience
  • Build, lead, and mentor high-performing product development teams
  • Establish KPIs to measure product success and team effectiveness

QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years of product development experience in telecommunications

  • Strong understanding of wireless networks, fiber infrastructure, and service delivery models
  • Proven track record of launching complex telecom products
