Job description

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust level clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, or a High School diploma or equivalentand 9 years
  • 5 years in integration engineering, API development, or middleware development
  • 2+ years of direct experience integrating IAM or identity platforms (ID.me, Okta, ForgeRock, Ping, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow to include integrations (REST APIs, MID Server, Flow Designer)
  • Experience with ELK Stack to include Logstash pipelines, Elasticsearch indexing/querying, Kibana dashboards & alerting
  • Experience working in agile/scrum environments
  • Experience in REST APIs, JSON/XML, HTTP protocols, webhooks, API gateways, Postman
  • Experience in Authentication & Security
  • Experience in Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Java, Shell/PowerShell
  • iPaaS Tools proficiency
  • Networking/Security experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ID.me APIs and identity proofing workflows
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform)
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Interface Integration Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure integrations between IAM platforms and key external systems, including ID.me, ServiceNow, and the ELK Stack. This role sits at the intersection of API engineering, identity security, and observability, ensuring secure, reliable data flow across identity verification, IT service management, and monitoring platforms in a federal environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure integrations with ID.me for identity verification using OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations using Scripted REST APIs, MID Server, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub
  • Configure and manage ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log ingestion, monitoring, and alerting
  • Build and maintain REST APIs and middleware for cross-platform data exchange
  • Design and implement data mapping and transformation logic (JSON/XML) across systems
  • Manage integrations using iPaaS tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato)
  • Ensure secure data transmission using TLS/mTLS and compliance with federal standards (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration, API, and data flow issues across systems
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams
  • Collaborate in agile teams supporting development, testing, and deployment activities
