Special Needs Paraeducator

Position: Special Needs Paraeducator Santa Margarita Elementary School Hours: Monday-Friday / 6 hrs per day 195 days per school year (184 work days plus 11 paid holidays) Salary: Range 24 (Step C-$19.78 to Step G-$24.66) Benefits include various health, dental and vision insurance packages CalPERS Retirement Vacation, Sick Leave and 11 paid holidays Qualifications: One year in any combination of training, education, and experience in providing and implementing school based directed learning experiences special needs students Must pass professional aide test with 70% accuracy or be NCLB Compliant with 48 college semester units CPR certified (we can provide training) Ability to pass DOJ Fingerprint Clearance Valid driver's license Deadline: March 30, 2026 To Apply: Apply on www.edjoin.org to complete an application Current employees please submit a letter of interest to Kristy Sanchez in the Human Resources Department (kristysanchez@atasusd.org).
