The Finance Senior Manager, Debt & Treasury Operations is responsible for overseeing the execution, administration, compliance, and reporting of the company's diverse debt portfolio, including debt owned by QTS and other ownership structures. This role serves as a key business partner to Capital Markets, Investments, Legal, Accounting, FP&A, and external financial institutions to ensure efficient debt management, covenant compliance, cash flow execution, and treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the accurate and timely administration of the Company's credit facilities, including commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), asset-backed securities (ABS), joint ventures, revolving credit facilities, and project finance structures.
  • Monitor and manage debt instruments throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with financial covenants and credit agreement provisions.
  • Maintain relationships with administrative agents, lenders, servicers, and other financing partners to support ongoing transactions and facility administration.
  • Assist with loan onboarding activities, debt facility implementations, and construction loan closeout processes.
  • Support the administration and optimization of the Treasury Management System (TMS) for debt instruments and financial obligations.
  • Manage and coordinate monthly debt draw activities across finance teams, ensuring funding requests and debt draws align with lender requirements, financial models, and credit agreements to effectively fund strategic business initiatives.
  • Lead the execution and management of project cash flows across complex financing structures, partnering with lenders to administer bank account waterfalls, ensure debt facility cash compliance, and provide subject matter expertise on credit agreement cash management requirements.
  • Analyze and manage treasury-related cash activities for project finance loans, ensuring appropriate account balances and accurate debt pool reporting.
  • Manage, monitor, and report on company's derivative instruments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely debt-related reporting to lenders, internal stakeholders, and management.
  • Support internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring adherence to treasury controls and policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Treasury Analysts and other finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Serve as an operational backup within Debt Operations to ensure continuity of critical treasury functions.
  • Lead special projects and strategic initiatives related to treasury operations, financing activities, and process optimization.

Collaborate effectively cross functionally with other internal stakeholders to support business objectives and financing activities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Finance or Business Management with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting
  • Seven or more years of experience in Treasury Operations and Finance
  • Five or more years of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of treasury controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Experience with treasury management systems and financial reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • International experience
  • Mid-sized or large company experience
  • Knowledge of CMBS, ABS, Private Placement, project finance, and structured lending arrangements.
  • MBA, CTP, CPA, or other relevant professional certifications.
