Hybrid role urgent client needs IBM DataStage ETL Developer

IBM DataStage ETL Developer | IBM DataStage | Oracle PL/SQL | ETL | Data Warehouse (EDW) | Oracle Database | Unix Shell Scripting | Production Support

Philadelphia, PA 19113 Hybrid

6 Months

Must Have Skills:

5 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and ETL development

IBM DataStage (8.x / 11.x preferred) strong hands-on experience

Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c) advanced SQL and PL/SQL

Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts (EDW, ODS, Data Marts)

ETL concepts: CDC, incremental loads, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)

Performance tuning for ETL jobs and Oracle queries

Unix/Linux shell scripting (basic to intermediate)

Job scheduling tools (Tidal or equivalent)

Nice to Have Skills:

Healthcare background

Detailed Job Description:

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize DataStage job performance

Handle production support issues, reruns, and data reconciliations

Perform root cause analysis for ETL and data-related issues

Implement error handling, logging, and restartability in ETL jobs

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and handle complex data issues

Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Production support and ownership mindset

Minimum Years of Experience:

6+ years
