As a Director of Data Architecture, you collaborate and build strong relationships with our business partners and technical product teams to drive our data architectures and implement leading cloud-based database technologies as enablers for key investment management business capabilities.

  • Expert knowledge and hands‑on experience in architecting and implementing blockchain and cryptocurrency applications.

  • Current on event processing, Data API and recent emerging data technologies. Exposure to Python, Data Science and Machine Learning methodologies desired.

Demonstrated organizational savvy and maturity, for working effectively across different organizational units and business groups. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field ideally combined with an advanced technical degree.
  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a focus on blockchain and cryptocurrency applications.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and distributed ledger systems.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and database design, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices, especially in the context of blockchain.
  • Depth of knowledge in architecture and an ability to translate business objectives into technology solutions. Experience in a wide array of architecture patterns including architecting highly performant systems, event‑driven architectures, APIs, data architecture and security architectures.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, and the cloud platforms, especially AWS is desired.
  • Strong technical foundation: including an undergraduate degree in computer science or a related field, ideally combined with sophisticated technical degree. Knowledge of the financial industry and portfolio management concepts is a plus.
