Director of Program Management, Creative Ops

Location: Houston, TX - On-site

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Director of Program Management, Creative Ops to manage the day-to-day workflow and delivery of creative projects across a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will serve as a central point of coordination across creative teams and stakeholders, ensuring requests are clearly defined, appropriately prioritized and routed, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate brings strong creative operations and program management experience, excellent stakeholder skills, and the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex, fast-moving work.

What You'll Do

  • Manage creative projects and workstreams from intake through final delivery
  • Oversee project scope, timelines, priorities, dependencies and approvals
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear creative briefs, deliverables and project plans
  • Manage intake and route work based on priorities, timelines and team capacity
  • Partner with creative and production teams to keep projects moving and remove roadblocks
  • Monitor workloads and capacity, identifying resource constraints and competing priorities
  • Lead project status meetings and provide clear communication around progress, risks and next steps
  • Coordinate across internal teams and external partners as needed
  • Maintain project plans, trackers, documentation and reporting
  • Track key metrics including project volume, timelines, utilization and delivery performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes and overall efficiency
  • Support budget tracking, forecasting and resource planning

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in creative program management, creative operations, project management or production
  • Experience managing high-volume creative work across multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of creative workflows and the creative production process
  • Excellent project management skills with experience managing timelines, priorities, resources and dependencies
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience translating business needs into actionable creative briefs and workstreams
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with project management and workflow platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience within a large or complex organization preferred
  • Houston-based or willing to relocate
