Job description

Confido is the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG - the platform that 200+ brands like OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, and Tropicana use to run everything from deductions to production planning. Finance, accounting, sales, and operations, unified in one system for the first time.
We're growing 5x year over year with a small team in New York City; the people who join now will shape the product, the culture, and the company itself.
If you want your work on shelves everywhere - and outsized ownership while you build - we'd love to meet you.
About the Role
You will work directly with leading CPG brands to transform how they run their retail business. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, customer success, and product, you'll own key customer relationships while shaping the evolution of the Confido platform.
You'll partner closely with product and engineering to turn real-world workflows-like forecasting, trade spend, and financial planning-into scalable software used across our customer base.
Location: New York, NY (in-office)
Compensation: $100k-$130k + Benefits + Meaningful Equity (0.06%-0.085%)
What You'll Do
Strategic Advisory & Customer Success
  • Own a portfolio of enterprise CPG accounts, serving as a trusted advisor on business process optimization, software adoption, and long-term value realization
  • Lead onboarding, implementation, and training to ensure customers go live quickly and successfully
  • Build deep relationships with senior stakeholders - from finance directors to COOs - and maintain high retention and expansion rates across your book of business
  • Proactively identify risks, surface solutions, and ensure customers see measurable business impact

Shape the Product
  • Translate complex workflows (forecasting, trade promotion, AOPs, retail accounting) into clear product requirements
  • Partner with product and engineering to prioritize features based on customer needs and market gaps
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring what we build maps to real-world use

What We're Looking For
Required
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or CPG finance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to structure ambiguous problems
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
  • High ownership mindset with ability to execute end-to-end
  • Willingness to work in-office in NYC 5 days/week
Nice to Have
  • Experience in CPG, retail, or consumer finance
  • Familiarity with forecasting, AOPs, or financial planning workflows
  • Knowledge of syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen, SPINS)
  • Exposure to trade promotion management or CPG accounting
  • Experience working closely with product or engineering teams
Perks + Benefits
  • Equity - own a piece of what you're building
  • Fully paid health coverage with Aetna (we cover 100% of premiums)
  • Top-tier dental and vision through Guardian
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave
  • Unlimited PTO, plus regular 4-day holiday weekends we actually take
  • 401(k) through Vestwell
  • Paid relocation - we'll get you here
  • Full desk setup on day one (laptop, monitor, keyboard) + a $200 stipend to make it yours
  • Catered Friday lunches, team dinners on us, and unlimited coffee + snacks featuring our own brands
