Location: Pleasanton, CA; Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite Only)
Type of Role: Direct Hire (Full-Time, Onsite)
Shift: 9x80 schedule (Every other Friday off; onsite full-time)
Pay: $90,200 – $159,045 annually in CA, MA, NY (excluding most major metropolitan areas), CO, HI, IL, MD, MN, NJ, VT, WA, and Washington DC $103,700 – $179,860 annually in most major metropolitan areas in CA, MA, and NY
For other states, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location and consider scope, responsibilities, experience, education/training, key skills, and market and business factors. This position is incentive plan eligible. POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role is for a Configuration & Data Management (CDM) Analyst – Staff supporting remote sensing and national security space programs. The analyst will manage configuration documentation and data repositories for complex hardware and systems, ensuring that technical baselines, engineering changes, and deliverables are controlled, traceable, and compliant with applicable CDM principles and standards such as ANSI/EIA?649. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Review, analyze, and release engineering changes and requirements documentation in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) repository (such as Windchill EPDM), including initiation and follow-up activities for corrective actions.
Ensure customer contract and configuration/data management requirements are met, including proper handling of configuration items and deliverables.
Support administration of CDM repository databases and systems, maintaining accurate baselines and providing status accounting reports.
Participate in configuration management audit events and support Functional Configuration Audits, Physical Configuration Audits, and other verification activities.
Conduct and manage change boards or similar meetings, including tracking action items and generating meeting minutes.
Analyze Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs) for contract and task compatibility, and load CDRL/SDRL items into tracking tools and websites. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS – BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge or experience in configuration and data management principles and standards such as ANSI/EIA?649.
Experience managing a technical baseline in Windchill EPDM or another enterprise Product Data Management (PDM) system.
Experience with Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRL), including managing deliverable schedules and performing deliveries to the customer.
Experience in data management activities such as scheduling, tracking, and submitting data, and/or working with data repositories.
Experience conducting or managing change boards or similar meetings, including tracking action items and preparing meeting minutes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Active or current TS/SCI security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to multitask and lead across several competing priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
Strong decision-making skills and ability to work effectively with various technical and business disciplines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience conducting configuration management audit events such as Configuration Verification Audits, Functional Configuration Audits, and Physical Configuration Audits.
Experience with Access databases, Confluence, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
Experience with configuration and data management start-up activities for new programs or projects.
Proficiency in security and data marking practices.
Strong leadership and team-management skills, plus systems-thinking capability.
