Job purpose
To be responsible for the warehouse operations, inventory management and supervision of warehouse employees reporting to this position; promote and implement the company's core values and excellence in customer service; responsible for maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers. The typical work hours for this position are 3:30pm to 12am.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Provides leadership to facilitate excellence in Customer Service execution.
  • Supervise the daily activities of warehouse to ensure orders are shipped correctly and on-schedule.
  • Assume responsibility for delivery of product received by warehouse on a daily basis.
  • Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment; including fork lift, pallet jack, and handcart.
  • Maintains warehouse in accordance with all internal and external regulatory guidelines
  • (i.e. OSHA, Fire Safety Standards, etc.).
  • Supervise the maintenance of computerized warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Supervise, evaluate and train employees assigned to warehouse.
  • Contribute input to the Warehouse Manager in the employee performance reviews process.
  • Responsible for notifying Warehouse Manager of any attendance or discipline concerns.
  • Correct unsafe conditions or behaviors in work areas and report to Warehouse Manager.
  • Supports maintaining a safe working environment and focuses on safe work habits.
  • Maintains a focus for self and team on continuous learning that will enhance skill sets and growth opportunities.
