Position Summary... What you'll do...
We are seeking a Director, Cross-Platform Product Marketing to lead a newly created function that drives cross-platform adoption and attach rates, and competitive intelligence across priority verticals, internal platform capabilities, and international markets. This leader will define the strategy, operating model, and performance standards for the team, and will build the foundation for how cross-platform product marketing scales across the organization.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can build and develop a high-performing team, set clear expectations, manage performance effectively, and influence decisions across a matrixed organization. The ideal candidate brings strong product marketing judgment, commercial thinking, competitive rigor, and the ability to turn strategy into action.
What you’ll do
  • Lead cross-platform product marketing strategy across vertical-facing, international, and internal platform audiences.
  • Build vertical-specific adoption strategies and product attach playbooks that help move advertisers from siloed product buy to platform-level buy.
  • Partner closely with PMM leaders and teams to extend product-specific positioning, launch plans, and adoption motions into cross-solution attach, cross-sell, and upsell plays.
  • Develop GTM approaches, messaging, and launch plans that connect product capabilities to advertiser needs and business outcomes.
  • Drive local GTM customization and adoption strategies for international markets, ensuring product capabilities are translated into locally relevant positioning, enablement, and market voice.
  • Drive roadmap inbound, GTM, and adoption for foundational internal platform capabilities that support the advertising ecosystem.
  • Work with Product, Sales, Strategy, Measurement Insights, Marketing, and other stakeholders to identify adoption opportunities, remove blockers, and accelerate business impact.
  • Set the competitive intelligence operating model for the Walmart Connect PMM organization, including standards for research quality, analysis, and insight generation.
  • Lead priority competitive analyses that inform product strategy, GTM decisions, positioning, and adoption planning.
  • Enable the PMM organization to scale competitive learning through repeatable tools, templates, and best practices.
  • Build, recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing team with clear accountability, strong performance standards, and a culture of ownership and collaboration.
  • Set goals, operating rhythms, and performance review cadences that keep the team aligned, productive, and focused on impact.
  • Provide frequent feedback, development, and coaching to strengthen judgment, raise the quality bar, and grow future leaders.
  • Influence senior partners across Product, Sales, Strategy, Measurement Insights, Marketing, and PMM leadership to keep execution aligned and moving quickly.
What you’ll bring
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, GTM, Marketing Strategy, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of team and people leadership experience
  • Experience leading director-level or multi-workstream teams or functions.
  • Proven success driving GTM, messaging, launches, sales enablement, competitive positioning, and adoption strategy.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align Product, Sales, Strategy, Measurement Insights, Marketing, and PMM partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience building operating models, playbooks, and scalable processes for a growing team.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort translating data, market signals, and customer feedback into clear recommendations.
  • Experience supporting multi-product, platform, or ecosystem-based businesses.
  • Experience in retail media, advertising technology, or other complex platform environments is preferred.
  • Experience supporting international markets is preferred.
Why this role matters
This is an opportunity to build a new team, define a new operating model, and shape how cross-platform product marketing drives growth across the business.
