Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented team member to join our team. In this role, you will provide a variety of member service functions, including greeting and assisting members and guests, directing them to appropriate departments, and handling administrative tasks.

You will play a key role in building strong member relationships by presenting and explaining credit union products and services, assisting with account needs, and ensuring a positive, professional experience at every interaction. This is a high member-contact position requiring frequent interaction with members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet members and visitors, assess their needs, and direct them appropriately.
  • Provide administrative and operational support at all service stations.
  • Explain credit union products and services and assist members in utilizing them.
  • Process account changes and resolve account-related issues.
  • Perform teller functions, including accurate and timely cash handling (paying and receiving).
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure excellent service delivery in professional manner.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year in customer services, cash handling and administrative experiences; or any equivalent combination of formal training and/or experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented environment
