Job description

We are seeking an experienced Director, Catering Sales for the San Diego Market.

About the job

This role puts you at the center of creating unforgettable catered experiences that delight clients and drive business growth. You’ll lead sales efforts, collaborate with culinary and operations teams, and ensure every event is executed flawlessly while building strong, lasting client relationships.


The role of an individual contributor within the organization focuses on completing specific tasks and projects; contributing directly through their skills and expertise. Performs specialized technical tasks to support operations. Work is primarily achieved independently, however may collaborate with a team.

Pay Range: $67405 per year - $87230 per year

What you’ll bring 

  • Proven experience in catering sales or event management, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
  • Deep knowledge of food, wine, and menu development to create exceptional guest experiences.
  • Understanding of food and beverage operations, financials, and sales processes.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence at all levels.
  • Initiative, problem-solving ability, and a results-driven mindset to manage multiple events and projects seamlessly.


Requirements

  • Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Related Experience: 1-3 years
