Job description

We are investing in the systems and tools that carry us forward, and the Business Systems Analyst sits at the center of that work.
The Business Systems Analyst supports technology implementations, business systems, reporting, process improvement, and day-to-day application support. This role collaborates across departments to improve business processes, maintain data integrity, support users, and maximize business system effectiveness. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with the Business Systems Director to support data and reporting needs across the organization, including ad-hoc reporting, report libraries, SQL queries, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Independently learn, evaluate, and adopt new technologies, software platforms, AI tools, and business applications to continuously improve business processes and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support technology implementations from planning through go-live, testing, user adoption, documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a day-to-day support resource for IntelliDealer DMS and related enterprise applications, including configuration, troubleshooting, optimization, and end-user support.
  • Collaborate on training and change management as new systems and features are introduced.
  • Track project status, action items, testing, and implementation milestones.
  • Maintain system settings, user accounts, permissions, and security roles.
  • Coordinate with software vendors regarding support tickets, upgrades, enhancements, and technical issues.
  • Manage user access throughout the employee lifecycle while maintaining appropriate security.
  • Document business processes, workflows, configurations, and system procedures.
  • Partner with business leaders to analyze requirements and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide timely and effective technical support across all locations.
  • Promote data integrity, reporting accuracy, and continuous improvement.

SKILLS / ABILITIES
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed learner with a demonstrated ability to rapidly master new technologies, enterprise applications, AI tools, and evolving business processes while translating technical capabilities into practical business solutions.
  • Ability to document processes, configurations, workflows, and business requirements.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organization and project coordination abilities.
  • Ability to quickly learn enterprise business systems and recommend improvements.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years in Business Systems Analysis, Systems Analysis, ERP administration, or related roles.
  • Proven ability to independently acquire proficiency in new technologies, enterprise applications, AI tools, and business processes as organizational needs evolve.
  • Experience working within ERP, DMS, or business intelligence platforms, familiarity with IntelliDealer preferred.
  • Advanced SQL experience with reporting and database analysis.
  • Experience with BI or reporting platforms preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools or automation platforms preferred.
  • Process improvement or process documentation background preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization tools preferred.
