The Director, Business Strategy leads the development and execution of organizational vision through comprehensive market analysis and strategic planning. This role drives cross-functional initiatives, oversees change management, and implements process improvements to enhance business performance. By fostering collaboration with senior leadership and key stakeholders, the Director ensures alignment of business strategies with customer and operational needs. This position also champions talent development, ethical standards, and continuous improvement, promoting a culture of accountability and innovation to deliver sustainable results and support Walmart’s long-term growth objectives.
  About the team:
The Digital Enablement & Low-Voltage Systems team enhances Walmart’s general merchandise equipment through advanced intelligence and visibility. Leading GM asset digitization, the team develops IoT and sensor-based solutions and shapes strategies for low-voltage systems like CCTV and emerging connected technologies. They identify connectivity opportunities, evaluate technologies, and build hardware partnerships to integrate assets into Walmart’s digital ecosystem. Collaborating with Digital Twin & Asset Management, Global Tech, and Global Security, the team ensures alignment with enterprise technology, data, and security standards. This role offers the chance to drive innovation from concept to deployment across Walmart’s facilities.

  • Develop and communicate the organizational vision and strategic execution plans based on industry and market analysis.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to prioritize and implement key business strategies and process improvements.
  • Oversee change management efforts, ensuring adoption and timely execution of projects from pilot to full rollout.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
