Role Overview

To support our growing business, ProAg is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze, plan, gather requirements, and test software applications. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure solutions deliver meaningful business value and meet customer needs, while aligning with organizational standards and priorities. Additionally, the role will facilitate Agile events, remove team impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

In This Exciting Opportunity, You Will:

  • Ensure business and system requirements support defined goals, objectives, and customer needs, with a strong focus on delivering business value.

  • Gather, document, validate, and manage requirements throughout the lifecycle, including approval and change management in alignment with organizational standards.

  • Prioritize requirements based on business value, cost to deliver, and time constraints.

  • Present requirements in clear, understandable formats and trace them from business case through implementation.

  • Identify key stakeholders, understand their influence, and manage relationships effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering and refinement sessions within your first 90 days.

  • Within six months, maintain an approved and prioritized backlog to support continuous development and proactively plan two to three sprints ahead in partnership with product owners and team members.

What You Bring

  • You have at least two years of relevant, progressive experience in a business analysis or related role.

  • You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, BCIS, or a related field is preferred.

  • You bring a strong understanding of business processes and how related activities can be

  • You demonstrate analytical thinking and a logical, step-by-step approach to problem solving.

  • You communicate effectively and professionally with diverse audiences, including internal teams, agents, agencies, and external partners.

Pay Transparency

The pay range for this position is $68,000 - $82,000, which includes geographic adjustments, where applicable. The pay range is the range THMCC, in good faith, believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting. The hired applicant will be offered pay within the entire range based on the candidate's geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
