Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and consumer-obsessed Director of Product to lead the creation of bold, craveable beverages - flavors and products - from concept to rollout. This role sits at the intersection of consumer insights, product storytelling, and brand strategy, ensuring every product delivers both exceptional taste and strong consumer relevance.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of consumer trends, market opportunities, and product development. This role will partner cross-functionally to create products and flavors that resonate with consumers and fuel business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify emerging flavor trends, ingredient innovations, and whitespace opportunities

  • Translate consumer insights, retailer needs, and business objectives into compelling product concepts

  • Create and maintain a multi-year innovation & flavor roadmap aligned with company goals

  • Develop detailed product briefs that capture flavor direction, consumer target, positioning, and key product attributes to align internal teams and external partners

  • Partner with R&D team and flavor houses to develop differentiated flavor profiles and manage timelines

  • Guide flavor exploration, evaluation, and optimization through structured tasting sessions and consumer feedback

  • Support formulation refinements and product optimization

  • Ensure product concepts, messaging, and design elements effectively communicate consumer benefits and brand values

  • Own product development timelines and key milestones, ensuring cross-functional teams - including creative, project management, stay on track from concept approval through final art files

  • Partner with the creative and project management teams to ensure all packaging assets and can art files are completed accurately and on time

  • Drive alignment across stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in beverage innovation, product development, brand innovation, or related CPG categories

  • Demonstrated success developing and launching beverage products from concept to market

  • Strong understanding of flavor development, formulation processes, and beverage industry trends

  • Experience working directly with flavor houses, ingredient suppliers, and external development partners

  • Deep expertise in consumer insights, trend analysis, and innovation strategy

  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, creative, commercial, and technical teams

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong analytical thinking combined with creative problem-solving capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
