Who You Are:

This role reports to the Director of Beverage Manufacturing. The Co-Manufacturing Manager, Beverage will focus on Co-manufacturer relationship management, capacity & throughput matrices, & New Product Development (NPD) RFQ's and negotiations. The Co-Manufacturing Manager, Beverage will work alongside all cross functional teams associated with the manufacturing of Nutrabolt and Bloom Nutrition's beverage products, including but not limited to Purchasing, Planning, QA/QC, Legal, and Product Development. This role will continue to develop and foster relationships with our current and new manufacturing partnerships. This role will further assist in identifying potential new external partners and focus on continuous improvement throughout Nutrabolt and Bloom Nutrition's Beverage Co-manufacturing global network.

What You're Good At:

  • Will have direct oversight of conversion costs including Labor, Overhead, Margins, Scrap, Re-work, & Changeovers / Spec Changes for assigned functional areas

  • Identify and capture cost-reduction and efficiency opportunities in a collaborate fashion.

  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies in alignment with Nutrabolt's Stage Gate process that fosters the highest level of commitment to continuous improvement in product quality, (total) cost, and delivery

  • Ensure expedient and compliant implementation of new contracts throughout organization

  • Support Director of Beverage in evaluating new global manufacturer site economics & viability for strategic business needs

  • Cross functionally lead plant trials, first production runs and commercialization

  • Partner with PD and Quality on process feasibility and line compatibility

  • Ensure smooth handoff from development to full-scale production

  • Coordinate with planning and logistics teams throughout the commercialization process

  • Ensure raw materials, packaging, and capacity are aligned to plan

  • Manage short-term disruptions and contingency planning

  • Actively represent sourcing on all NPD calls with Co-Mans, aligning with production allocation based upon TCO, capability, capacity, and other applicable criteria

  • Track and validate Co-Man's Take or Pay progress and incentives / rebates

  • Manage the onboarding process for new Co-Man partners post successful Sourcing Operating vetting process and QA cGMP audits are complete and approved

What You Contribute:

  • Degree(s) in Business Administration, Economics, Food Science, Package Engineering, or Supply Chain Management highly preferable.

  • Has a minimum of 8+ years of industry experience in Co-Manufacturing, Sourcing & Procurement, and/or Operations Management.

  • Has experience in multi-site global manufacturing management

  • Demonstrated ability in building relationships and vendor management

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Has superior attention to detail, problem solving and organizational skills

  • Strong skills with: Supplier management, negotiation, contract development/analysis, supplier evaluation, price/cost analysis, TCO

  • Is independent and able to manage time efficiently and adjust to shifting priorities quickly

  • Can work well with a diverse group of people and be a strong and dependable team player

  • Must be able to work well under tight deadlines

  • Supplier visits and conference travel up to 25% or more as needed
