Job description

beem Light Sauna Excelsior | Full-Time, In-Person

The Opportunity

beem Light Sauna Excelsior is a locally owned boutique wellness studio entering its next stage of growth. We are looking for a driven, creative and highly accountable sales leader who can help more people discover our services while building a thriving membership community.

This is not a traditional marketing-director position. It is a hands-on, revenue-producing role.

You will personally follow up with leads, conduct consultations, close memberships, build community partnerships and create new opportunities for studio growth. You will own the sales pipeline from initial interest through enrollment and early member retention.

Our Director of Operations owns the day-to-day studio operation. You will own sales and growth.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead generation and overall pipeline growth
  • Timely and consistent follow-up with prospective members
  • In-person and phone-based consultations
  • Membership and package sales
  • Consultation show rates and closing performance
  • Net active membership growth
  • Community partnerships, referral relationships and local outreach
  • Events, promotions and grassroots marketing initiatives
  • Local email, text and social-media campaigns
  • Coordination with ownership and outside marketing partners
  • Sales reporting, pipeline tracking and weekly growth scorecards
  • Member referrals, upgrades and early-stage retention
  • Continuous improvement of the studio’s sales systems and processes

This is a player-coach role. You will help develop the broader team’s confidence around sales, but you will also personally make calls, follow up, conduct consultations and close business.

How Success Will Be Measured

Success in this position will be measured through clear weekly and monthly goals, including:

  • New collected membership and package revenue
  • Net active membership growth
  • Lead response and follow-up performance
  • Consultations booked and completed
  • Consultation close rate
  • Member retention and early cancellations
  • Partnership meetings and qualified referral leads
  • Overall studio revenue growth

Who We’re Looking For

You are confident discussing money, asking for the sale and helping people make decisions.

You are persistent without being pushy, creative without losing focus and comfortable being held accountable to measurable results. You do not wait for someone to create a perfect plan for you. You identify opportunities, take action and follow through.

You should bring:

  • A demonstrated record of meeting sales, revenue or business-development goals
  • Confidence leading consultative sales conversations and handling objections
  • Strong follow-up habits and attention to detail
  • An entrepreneurial and solutions-oriented mindset
  • The ability to create relationships throughout the local community
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working independently and taking ownership of results
  • The ability to use a CRM, track a pipeline and report measurable performance
  • Genuine interest in wellness and helping people improve how they feel

Experience in boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality, membership sales or consumer services is helpful but not required. Proven sales performance and personal accountability are more important than industry experience.

Compensation

  • Base salary of $50,000–$55,000, based on experience
  • Target first-year total compensation of $65,000–$75,000
  • Uncapped performance incentives tied to collected revenue, membership growth, conversion and retention
  • Additional earning accelerators for exceeding studio growth targets

Benefits

  • Health-insurance eligibility
  • Paid time off
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Complimentary or discounted studio services
  • Professional-development support
  • Meaningful opportunity to help shape the future of a growing local wellness business

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time, in-person position at our Excelsior studio. The schedule will include a combination of traditional business hours and occasional evenings or weekends for consultations, events and partnership activities.
