Description
Enforce all Health, Safety and Environmental regulations to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Maintain exceptional 5S and housekeeping standards at all times.
Execute, enforce, and comply with the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, manufacturing standards and shop rules.
Achieve manufacturing goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, scrap, and productivity.
Supervisor, coach, develop, and evaluate subordinates.
Implement and maintain communications between management, union, and employees.
Perform daily and weekly audits, metrics reports, and evaluate supervisor standard work.
Identify areas of opportunity and work local resources to implement changes that improve the business.
Develop, maintain, and execute production schedules and recovery plans for a three-shift operation.
Direct and lead process technicians and team members in the reduction of scrap and downtime.
Position Requirements
Required - High School Equivalent
Preferred - BS or BA Manufacturing or Business, or equivalent relevant experience
Required - Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
Required - Self Motivator who works well under pressure
Required - Knowledge of basic manufacturing principles including Lean, Just-in-Time (JIT) Systems
Preferred - Quality Experience
Education Requirement
High School Diploma with at least 3+ years of relevant work experience required.
