Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
PRN | Day Shift | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Rotating Schedule
A respected healthcare facility is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its Anesthesia team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, self-directed anesthesia professional committed to providing safe and effective anesthetic care in a collaborative environment.
Position Overview:
This role involves the administration of anesthesia and related services in accordance with established standards, practices, and guidelines. The CRNA will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure patient comfort and safety during surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist or as per organizational policies
  • Monitor patients throughout procedures, adjusting anesthetics as needed
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-anesthesia care
  • Apply critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in high-stakes environments
  • Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current RN license and CRNA certification in the state of Indiana
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program (COA)
  • Certified by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (or its predecessor)
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in anesthesia services
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions precisely
  • Strong interpersonal and critical-thinking skills
  • Eligible for malpractice insurance coverage
Work Environment:
  • Day shifts (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM), rotating schedule
  • Frequent interaction with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary staff
  • Role requires discretion and confidentiality due to exposure to sensitive patient information
