This opportunity is based at a fully certified member of the Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Alliance, which is an initiative designed to establish partnerships between MSK and local care providers. The facility is part of the largest and most integrated healthcare system in Connecticut, featuring a broad network of seven acute care hospitals, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in New England with more than 1,000 providers.

Job Details:
  • Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity providing value-based care to oncology patients primarily in outpatient settings
  • Involved in triage and the full spectrum of outpatient management of cancer patients including urgent visits, chemotherapy pre-treatment visits, follow-up appointments, and ongoing survivorship care
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule with potential for a four 10-hour day schedule option
  • Based in an outpatient medical oncology practice with the opportunity to participate in acute care consultation services
  • Opportunities for professional advancement and training through a unique relationship with Memorial Sloan Kettering
  • Comprehensive and individualized onboarding and orientation program provided
  • Support available through a dedicated Office of Advanced Practice committed to the growth and development of Advanced Practitioners, as well as access to the Office of Provider Wellness
  • Exposure to many APP-directed educational opportunities within a supportive and dynamic team environment
  • Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is required
  • Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN is required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is highly preferred
