Adult Education High School Teacher
Position Title: Adult Education High School Teacher
Location: New Milford Adult Education
Reports To: Adult Education Director
Employment Type: Part-time
Program Operation: Monday-Thursday. Classes run 5-7 and 7-9
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Adult Education High School Teacher to facilitate learning for adult learners seeking to obtain their high school diploma. The ideal candidate will create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment, develop relevant curriculum, and support students in achieving their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement instructional materials and lesson plans tailored to adult learners' needs.
  • Instruction: Deliver engaging lessons in core subjects (e.g., math, science, English, social studies) using diverse teaching methods and technologies.
