HumanEdge Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a residential setting in Staten Island (ZIP Code 10309).

Available Schedules

20 Hours/Week

  • Sunday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

24 Hours/Week

  • Saturday, Sunday & Monday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Saturday, Sunday & Tuesday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Thursday, Friday & Saturday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

32 Hours/Week

  • Saturday, Sunday, Thursday & Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Friday | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Provide compassionate direct care and support to adults with IDD.

  • Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation.

  • Transport individuals safely to appointments and community outings as needed.

  • Encourage independence while maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

  • Complete required documentation and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Valid New York State Driver's License (Required)

  • Comfortable driving agency or personal vehicles

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), autism, or behavioral health populations

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to lift, transfer, and assist individuals when needed

  • Reliable transportation to Staten Island, NY 10309

  • Ability to pass all required background checks and agency clearances

  • Authorized to work in the United States
