About the Role:
The Whole Child LLC in Reno, NV is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Staff member to join their team. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental, intellectual, or physical disabilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
  • Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
  • Facilitate community integration and accompany clients to appointments and activities
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
  • Promote client independence, dignity, and self-determination at all times
  • Respond appropriately to behavioral support needs and crisis situations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
