Home of Guiding Hands is urgently hiring Caregivers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in our residential homes.
If you have a heart for helping others and are looking for meaningful, hands-on work, we would love to meet you.
Previous experience working with individuals with developmental, learning, or physical disabilities is preferred, but not required.

What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you'll work directly with our clients and help them live as independently as possible while providing the care and support they need.
You may assist with personal care, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting and mobility, support individualized goals and daily routines, provide positive behavioral and emotional support, administer medications, accompany clients to appointments and community activities, and provide transportation using an HGH vehicle.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental, learning, or physical disabilities is preferred, but not required
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to provide hands-on care and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Patience, dependability, and a genuine desire to help others
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings and training
