Haven Viewis a community-based service provider for individuals with disabilities, offering an array of services to suit the unique needs and objectives of youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as traumatic brain injuries.


Direct Support Professionalsat Haven View play a vital role in the day-to-day care, support, and personal development of the individuals we serve. Your primary responsibility is to provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients while ensuring their health, safety, and overall well-being. You will assist with daily living activities, implement care plans, and maintain accurate documentation. As a Direct Support Professional, you are responsible for supporting the individuals we serve by promoting independence, dignity, and respect.


Expectations:

  • As a Direct Support Professional member, your primary focus is the health, safety, and overall well-being of the clients in your care. You are expected to provide high-quality support while fostering a positive, respectful, and empowering environment.
  • You are responsible for completing all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that the care provided is properly tracked and communicated to supervisors.
  • Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude at all times, especially in challenging situations. Your role requires patience, empathy, and a commitment to the dignity and independence of every client you support.
