Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Direct Store Delivery Driver to join our team in Louisville KY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to navigate routes efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety. This will work in bowling green and surrounding counties.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload , ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage during transit.
  • Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries, utilizing GPS and mapping tools as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to avoid injury.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies encountered during transport.
  • Place deliveries in stores on shelves.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in route driving or delivery services preferred.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
