Job description

Hire Resolve is assisting Sales & Marketing organizations in hiring experienced Sales & Marketing professionals for mid-senior opportunities across Canada. This is a multi-role campaign spanning several commercial functions, including business development, key account management, sales operations, demand generation, digital/performance marketing, brand and communications, product/industry marketing, and go-to-market execution.

These roles are designed for professionals ready to lead initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and progress toward leadership pathways such as Head of Sales, Head of Marketing, Sales Director, Marketing Director, or Commercial Director (depending on specialization and scope).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales and/or marketing strategies aligned to revenue growth, pipeline targets, market share, and brand objectives
  • Own go-to-market planning, including positioning, messaging, segmentation, channel strategy, and integrated campaign execution
  • Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships to support acquisition, renewals, retention, upsell, and cross-sell outcomes
  • Drive structured business development and account planning (role-dependent), including forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting
  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (paid, organic, email, content, events, partnerships), tracking ROI and conversion performance
  • Use data and customer insights to identify opportunities, improve funnel performance, and guide decision-making
  • Collaborate with product, operations, finance, and customer teams to improve customer experience and commercial outcomes
  • Create or refine playbooks, processes, and KPI frameworks to enable scalable growth
  • Coach and mentor team members; support onboarding and performance development where applicable
  • Maintain compliant marketing, privacy, and data-handling practices aligned with applicable Canadian privacy requirements (role-dependent)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Commerce, or a related field (MBA and relevant certifications are an asset)
  • 5-12+ years of progressive experience across sales, marketing, or commercial roles (mid-senior level)
  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable outcomes (e.g., revenue growth, pipeline contribution, customer acquisition, conversion improvement, retention)
  • Proficiency with common commercial tools (depending on specialization), such as:
    • CRM: Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics
    • Marketing automation: HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua
    • Analytics/reporting: GA4, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI
    • Advertising platforms: Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads (role-dependent)
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Commercial and analytical ability to interpret performance data, build business cases, and prioritize activity for impact
  • Work eligibility in Canada as required by the employer (varies by client and role)
